Carpenter in Toulouse — carpentry and lime plastering
Structural timber and the materials that go with it
Carpentry & timber building
Traditional timber framing, restoration of historic roof structures, timber frame construction, cladding, bespoke carpentry and outdoor timberwork. The core trade, and the reason for everything else.
Lime plaster & finishes
Lime plasters, stucco, limewash and the restoration of historic plasterwork. A mineral material that regulates humidity and lets walls breathe.
Renovation work
Renovating an older house or flat without damaging it: structural timberwork, breathable materials and finishes.
A single point of contact
From the first visit to the final finish, the same person assesses your project, carries it out and keeps you informed. No middlemen, and no coordination left to you.
Timber and natural materials
Timber chosen to last, sourced locally wherever possible, and materials that suit the building rather than being imposed on it.

Our services
Timber is only one of the materials that make a healthy home. We also cover natural finishes and interior finishing work: one point of contact, from structure to colour.
Carpentry and timber building
Traditional timber framing, restoration of historic roof structures, timber frame construction, cladding and bespoke carpentry. Where it all started, and the reason for everything else.
Lime plaster & finishes
Lime plasters, stucco, limewash, restoration of historic plasterwork: the mineral material that carries on from the timber. Breathable walls, coloured through the material itself, in old buildings and new.
Renovation work
Interior finishing, fit-out and joinery, alongside the timber work. A renovation carried out by the same hands as the structure, with no coordination to manage on your side.
Frequently asked questions
As a sole craftsman, and by choice: the person who comes to see your project is the one who carries it out, and the one you call if a question comes up six months later. It also means that work needs to be scheduled.
Some jobs take several pairs of hands, simply because that is how they are done properly: raising a roof truss, handling a heavy-section timber, fitting a long span. At those times we bring in extra help — people whose work we know — because safety and the quality of the installation depend on it.
There is no minimum size. A well-defined job is always welcome, even a modest one. On the other hand, a few hours’ call-out, an emergency repair or flat-pack furniture to assemble is not our trade, and you will be better served elsewhere. The simplest thing is to describe your project — you will get a straight answer, quickly.
Yes. Lime plasters, stucco, limewash and patinas: mineral finishes are part of our services, just as timber is.
In fact, it is what gives our work its coherence — the structure and the surface of the walls conceived by the same person, on a job that does not have to be split between two firms. Tell us about your project: together we will look at what it involves and how to plan it.
Yes. Toulouse and the surrounding metropolitan area first, and up to around 300 km away for projects that warrant it. Not sure whether we cover your area? Just ask — we will reply quickly.
