Privacy policy

This page explains what information is collected on boisetlendemains.fr, why, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights. It is written in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Jérémy Averbuj, sole trader trading as Bois & lendemains (SIRET 884 689 977 00038), who can be contacted at contact@boisetlendemains.fr or on +33 7 53 45 92 94.

What data is collected

The website only collects personal data when you choose to send it, through the quote request form or by email:

  • first name, last name, email address and phone number;
  • the town or village where the work would take place;
  • type of project, preferred date and description of your project.

No data is collected without your knowledge: the website uses no analytics, no advertising and no embedded social media, and sets no tracking cookies.

Why it is collected

Your data is used solely to reply to your enquiry, prepare and arrange the site visit, draw up a quote and, if you go ahead, manage the work and invoicing.

This processing is based on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, then on the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for accounting records, on a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

Who has access to it

Your data is accessed only by Jérémy Averbuj. It is never sold, passed on or rented, and is not used for marketing.

The website and the business email account are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland, which acts as a technical service provider. Switzerland is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.

How long it is kept

  • Quote request not followed up: 3 years from the last exchange, then deleted.
  • Customers: for the duration of the relationship, then 10 years for signed quotes and invoices, in line with French accounting obligations.

Security

The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The form is protected against automated submissions by a check question and an invisible trap field, which run on the website’s own server without sending data to any outside service. The fonts are also hosted on the website’s own server.

Cookies

The website sets no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, so no consent banner is required.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, email contact@boisetlendemains.fr: you will receive a reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: www.cnil.fr.
